Norway in Amsterdam…

…Snowed in as I am it really does feel more like Norway in Aberblah at the moment. Had a nice ápres-ski Dewi Sant (Part 3) yesterday. The Pedro Ximenez was lush and Blobmother’s Welsh cakes were divine. We have an old cast iron bakestone that weighs a ton. So it was fun to get an email about a Norwegian evening in Amsterdam today. Old-school organic drone improv by Sindre Bjerga and Jan M. Iversen starts at 8 at OT301. This used to be a squat with a cool arty flair and now they are trying to buy the building to keep it as an international cultural centre with an alternative and experimental agenda. Sounds like a mission. According to the weather report they had snow in Amsterdam too so the Norwegians should feel at home. They can do some langlauf on the Prinsengracht.
