Save 50,000 trees this Christmas…

…and think twice about how you wrap your presents. 8,000 tonnes of wrapping paper are used each year, the equivalent of 50,000 trees that could be growing and taking up CO2. Boakart has some interesting ideas on how to wrap presents creatively, using fragments of paper and miscellaneous items from around your house. Why not send an e-card? And when it’s all over? Recycle your cards with the help of the Woodland Trust.

hiya! excellent post. yes its great actually wrapping your xmas pressies with old magazines and newspapers. saves me having to trek out and buy wrapping paper and im reusing something that would otherwise end up in the recycling bin. And! i get a creative wrap out of it! i find its great fun giving someone something that’s wrapped in something zany.
